How has starting to use Chronos® impacted your workflow and practices in the gynecological emergency department?
Chronos® saves us valuable time between each patient. Previously, the probe had to be disinfected three times with two different products. Today, the process is much faster, simpler, and more intuitive. It quickly became part of our routine and also reinforces an ethical dimension: for an invasive exam, thorough disinfection is essential. Patients see the probe inside the machine and immediately understand that it is thoroughly disinfected.

Did Chronos®’ effectiveness, especially its ability to reduce HPV, play a key role in your decision to acquire it?

‍Even though I was not directly involved in the acquisition decision, the ethical and public health impact is obvious. In an emergency department with ahigh patient flow, reducing the risk of infections is a major advantage.

Has the use of Chronos® had an impact on patient care?

‍Indirectly, yes: lowering the risk of infection improves both the quality and safety of patient care.
