Function: Chronos® Max User Badge
- What is the main objective of this new feature?
This new feature provides a quick way to improve traceability by associating the configured operator’s ID and name with each disinfection.
Thanks to this feature, the operator’s ID and name are automatically linked to every disinfection cycle, thereby enhancing traceability. - What concrete benefit does it bring to users?
The operator’s ID and name are now directly included at the bottom of the disinfection ticket, eliminating the need to manually enter them on the ticket or add them as a comment in Germitrac. - How does this feature integrate into the overall Chronos® Max workflow?
When the probe is placed inside the Chronos® Max and the door is closed, the front barcode reader is automatically activated, allowing the operator to scan the barcode on their label. An audible and visual confirmation is displayed on the front of the machine to indicate that the identification has been successfully recorded, after which the operator can start the disinfection cycle. - Can this feature be added to machines already in service, and is it integrated into new machines by default?
This feature can easily be added to any machine already in service in two steps:
- Scan the configuration QR code using the barcode reader to update its setting
- Update the machine to version 1.2.1 (two successive updates are required).
The machine is then ready for use. Please note that the operator identification feature is enabled by default. To make it optional, simply uncheck the corresponding box at the bottom of the “Operator Settings” section in Germitrac.
